The vans shown may not be the actual van you hire. Always check the van specs and vehicle registration number with us in advance if booking to travel on the ferry.
We only hire vans by the full day
Boxer L1H1 Van. £80 per day
It has a carrying capacity of 8 cubic metres. The load area is 2464mm long, 1870mm wide and 1662mm high.
The external dimensions of the Boxer van are 4963mm long, 2050mm wide and 2200mm high.
Citroen Relay L2H1 van. £90 per day
It has a carrying capacity of 10 cubic metres. The load area is 2914mm long, 1870mm wide and 1662mm high
The external dimensions of the Relay van are 5413mm long, 2050mm wide and 2200mm high.
Ford Transit L3H2 van. £100 per day
It Has a carrying capacity of 11.5 Cubic Metres. The load area is 3494mm long, 1784mm wide and 1886mm high.
The external dimensions of the transit are 5680mm long, 2050mm wide and 2606mm high
Vw Crafter Luton / Mercedes Sprinter Luton vans. £110 per day
They have a carrying capacity of 18 cubic metres. The load area is 4000mm long, 2100mm wide and 2200mm high.
The external dimensions of the Luton vans are 6600mm Long, 3250mm high and 2100mm wide. Each has a hydraulic tail lift.
Citroen Relay L3 Flatbed truck with tail lift. £110 per day.
Able to be driven on a category B (car) driving license as are all the other vans.

Example hire cost
Luton van for an off island hire.
Collection between 8am and 8.30am Friday, return by 7am Monday.
3 day hire @ £110 per day = £330
Plus £50 off island fee = £380 total hire cost.
Location
Collection of our rental vans is between 8am and 8.30am, unless otherwise arranged in advance. We are located on Northside. Head from the bridge towards Vale Castle. We are on the main road on the left. Just before CJ’s take away.
Equipment
All rental vans come with the equipment legally required to drive in most of Europe*
Each van is equipped with:
2 x hi-viz vests, first aid kit, spare bulb kit, red warning triangle, breathalyser kit, fire extinguisher.
Each van is covered By The AA Specialist hire vehicle break down cover as standard. The vans have trackers fitted for your peace of mind and your goods safety. The vans are supplied with 4 x ratchet tie down straps. A sack truck is offered free of charge if requested.
*Beam benders for van headlights are not supplied. It is the customer’s responsibility to supply, fit and remove beam benders for driving in Europe. It is the hirer’s responsibility to supply their own country specific equipment, if anything is needed in addition to the safety equipment list above.

General Terms
Van rental requires you or your driver holds a clean valid category B (car) driving license, have no previous driving bans or license endorsements and have no criminal convictions. The license(s) to be presented to us on collection of the van. And for insurance purposes the driver to be between 25 and 70 at the time of hire. With at least 7 working days notice it can be possible to arrange insurance cover for older drivers, this is purely at the discretion of our insurance company.
Endorsements and convictions
With at least 7 working days notice it can be possible to arrange insurance cover for those with license endorsements/previous driving bans and those with criminal convictions. However this is not guaranteed, is fully at the discretion of our insurance company, and must be organised in advance. An admin fee of £25 is payable if the extended cover application is accepted.
